John Dale has everything. Money, notoriety, the biggest house in town. But what he really wants, is a good, old fashion Christmas. With no family in town, John turns to the local ?ent-All?store and Anne Weston. Anne? store is struggling, and in an attempt to save the shop, she takes on this unusual order, from this unusual man. She goes about trying to fill the order but ends up filling a need much greater.

The Great Rupert
Louie Amendola (Jimmy Durante), once a vaudeville performer with his wife and daughter, hasn't been getting any work, and, as Christmas approaches, his family is homeless. They find a room at Frank Dingle's (Frank Orth) house, but don't know how they'll pay the rent. Then the money Frank's been hiding in the ceiling above their apartment lands in the Amendolas' hands when a crafty squirrel heaves it out of its hiding space, causing more complications within the household.

Scrooge

On the night of Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by a number of visions, including the Spirit of Christmas Present (Oscar Asche), which shows him things he cannot normally see, changing the miser's attitude forever.
