Jessica Koloian was born and raised in Plymouth, Michigan. She is of Armenian, German, and Austrian descent. Koloian began performing at a young age by memorizing Bible verses and inspirational monologues, which she would recite in front of her church congregation and Sunday school classes. Growing up, she waffled between the career paths of the last strong female character of a film or TV show she had seen. It was not until her Freshman year of high school that she discovered that acting was in fact a career path, and it was then that Koloian knew that she would make acting her career.
